Hi everyone,

I am looking for some links to facebook pages/websites/blogs/twitter feeds about Parenting, Education, and Finance. Particularly interesting finance sites, because those seem to be impossible to find! I'm starting a new blog that focuses on finance for families (hopefully to be chocked full of information of fun things to do with kids). This blog is to help me with my career as a Financial Advisor, but honestly I want the information so I can eventually write financial books for families. The information on these sites can be just games/activities, tips or anything to do with the above subjects.

If you have a blog post that might be relatable to my blog please let me know and I'll post a link with a short review of what you do. The start of my blog is here: http://fortunebydesign.blogspot.ca/ I'm not posting it here so you can follow it, but this will allow you to see what I'm doing.  I hope you can help me out finding new sites. I've found quite a few, but the more I have the better I can blog.

Thank you! Dani

Check out Money Mammals. Really great finance info and tips for kids (and I'm friends with the owner who is awesome).

Kira Vermond wrote The Secret Life of Money, and tweets at KiwiV. I think she's just getting started with that. She's Canadian, and okay, she's my cousin, but she did a monthly column on money for Canada's main women's magazine.

I work PT as an associate to a Financial Planner/Advisor. I am also one of her clients.

We do work with financial planning for education if you ever want to discuss off board.

The Eyres are a couple that does a lot about parenting, families, etc. They've done the TV interview circuit for tips on parenting and their site is http://www.theeyres.com/

Another one is the "World's Strictest Parents" couple that was on the BBC show, but they're Americans oddly enough. Nicholeen Peek is the mom but I may have her name misspelled  :oops. Anywhere, their site is http://teachingselfgovernment.com/

Both the Eyre's and Peeks have info about budgeting and teaching kids finances as well. Good luck!

P.S. Here's a link to one on teaching kids about finances: http://www.valuesparenting.com/happyfamily4.php

One of my favorite blogs is thefrugalgirl.com.
She blogs about frugal living and living simply.
She's also a homeschooler, so occasionally she talks about that as well.
