People wanting to post their own events, all you have to do is click on the Calendar/Post Event, fill in the blanks, describe your event and put the number of days it will run, including the date/s of the event and the calendar will automatically show your event at the bottom of the message board every day for seven days before the event and during the event. It's a very easy way to get some extra exposure for your events.

NOTE:  If you have a deadline for signups for your event, post the deadline for signups "as" your event so the calendar will give you extra exposure for the week before your deadline. Example:

Event Name:  XYZ Conference Signups!

Event Message:  Last day to sign up for conference XYZ is January 31st.

Event Date:  January 31, 2014

Your message and Event deadline will show up as an upcoming event at the bottom of the message board every day for the last 7 days of January, until the 31st.
