Did you know WOC14 can stand for:
1. World Ophthalmology Congress 2014
2.  World Orienteering Championships 2014
3. World of Concrete

Then, silly me, I said to myself...Write On Con? Has it begun already? Where on earth is it? Link please?

When does it officially begin? How can we know the schedule of the live chats? Do we begin posting now?

Sorry Dionna I should have posted the link. Glad you found it and posted it :)

The forums are what is open now. And it gives us all plenty of time to get and give great feedback on the posts before the agents come on next Tuesday. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Write On Con is SO GREAT. It's helped me enormously. I can't wait to see everyone there this year! I'm not sure where or what I'll post yet but I guess I've got some time, although it's nice to get opinions early on, I have found.

I am a newbie to WOC but I'm excited to give it a go!  Can I ask what happens on Tues/Wed next week?  It is just the ninja agents come out to play or other stuff too?  I can't really find much information but I was under the impression it was like a conference.  Is it right?  :thankyou

Yes Sianey, from what I gather it's an online conference and beforehand we sub stories for our peers to evaluate before the ninja agents come. At least, this is what I think happens!  :)

I read a few of your posts. Very fun! If you subbed something, I'll go over & comment.  :flowers2

Thanks Vanessa, I guess we'll find out next week!  Yes I've put one story on and am hoping to get a few more on over the weekend.  I'll see if I can find yours too  8)

I spent most of yesterday reading WOC posts and commented on some; critiquing is uncomfortable for me, but is necessary, so this is another venue to use to try and shake it off.

Today, I took the plunge and posted under "First Five Pages."

I focusing on just one PB for this con. I have seen folks doing multiple, but I don't feel comfortable enough with my other projects just yet to share them over there.

I've seen a lot of good queries. I've peeked into the MG forum, but I spend most of my time looking at picture book entries.

Lots of good ideas over there.

I wasn't going to sub at all. Then I subbed one. Then another...till I subbed four.

I wasn't comfortable subbing any of them. Nothing is where I think it should be or want it to be. This has pushed me past my comfort zone, so in that regard, for me, it was success the second I subbed.

Some of the critiques have been a big help, showing me a CP should be next on the agenda.
