Finally, we are posting the winners! We had so many fabulous entries, that we decided to have two winners this month. Our two winners are Janet E. Gill and Pierre Lamielle. Both will receive a free year's membership with the SCBWI. Claudia Frost and Barbara Klein are our Runners-Up, both of whom will receive an Ideas & Images journal. Thanks to all who participated in October's contest! We received almost 200 entries! To recap... This month we challenged you to:

 Create a bumper sticker that announces to the world what you do as an author or illustrator of children's books. What would it say? It could describe what you do or incorporate goals you have for your work. Remember, be creative!

Janet E. Gill is a Washington state native and has been writing forever. She has taught first grade, worked as an editor, and through it all, raised three children.

Pierre Lamielle is an illustrator living in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Pierre loves children's books and many wonder if he is capable of reading at a higher level.

Claudia Frost lives, reads, and writes in Massapequa, NY. For fun she haunts bookstores, old and new, and libraries where she is surrounded by her favorite things. With three grandchildren who love reading and being read to, children's literature has been added to her list of passions.
