ABOUT ALAN JORDAN
I write spiritual books,
children’s’books, and business books.I write for loveMuch of my writing is forlove. For example, my children’s book The Monster on Top of the Bed was written because I wanted a way to pass on my strongest beliefs and values to a grandchild, just in case I should pass away before my daughter got pregnant and had a child. Now that I have a granddaughter, I’m writing a number of picture book manuscripts. I’ll be posting many of these for feedback, and I will appreciate any and all constructive comments.I write to make sense of lifeI write many poems, plays, short stories and books without being concerned about making money from them because they help me to make sense of life. Two examples are Relax, Rejoice & Rejuvenate, Volume I and Constructive Questions & Humorous Insights AboutLife. The first is a book of affirmations. The latter contains many questions that I asked myself over a period of over 20 years, the answers to which have greatly improved my life. I write for the thrill of writingTo be perfectly honest, writing could be considered an addiction with me. True, it’s a socially accepted, even positive addition (there’s an oxymoron for you) but an addiction, At least it’s an enjoyable addiction.
