• Marjorie Light is a National Board Certified English teacher who lives in Burlington, VT, and writes both contemporary and historical fiction for mid-grades and YA. When living in New York, she was involved in the creation of an Underground Railroad Museum in the Adirondacks and has worked with other museums developing curriculum for that time period. While teaching in Durham, NC, she built a lending library in her school, which had none. Currently she is researching and lecturing at the University of Nottingham, UK, as a Fulbright Distinguished Teacher as part of the U.S. Department of State commission.

    She is available to speak regarding teaching writing, revision, incorporating novels and non-fiction into the classroom, as well as creating learning units for your novel and successful author visits.
