ABOUT MICHELE WEBER HURWITZ
Michele is the author of two middle grade novels. “The Summer I Saved the World…in 65 Days” (Wendy Lamb Books 2014) received a starred review from The Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books and is nominated for state reading awards in Pennsylvania and Nebraska. “Calli Be Gold” (Wendy Lamb Books 2011) was named a starred Best Book by the Bank Street College of Education, was a 2014 Illinois Bluestem award nominee and is a 2016 Minnesota Maud Hart Lovelace award nominee. Michele has two middle grade novels coming in 2017 and 2018 from S&S/Aladdin. The first is “Makers Vs. Fakers,” about a group of seventh-graders who compete in a school maker fair.
