Michele is the author of two middle grade novels. “The Summer I Saved the World…in 65 Days” (Penguin Random House) received a starred review from The Bulletin of the Center for Children’s Books and has been nominated for state reading awards in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Nebraska. “Calli Be Gold” (Penguin Random House) was named a starred Best Book by the Bank Street College of Education and was nominated for state reading awards in Illinois and Minnesota. Michele has two middle grade novels coming in 2017 and 2018 from S&S/Aladdin. The first is “Makers Vs. Fakers,” about a group of seventh-graders who compete in a school maker/invention fair.
