Each year SCBWI Regional Advisors across the globe nominate one person from their region for the SCBWI Regional Scholarship. The Scholarship provides travel and lodging costs, and full tuition to the annual Summer Conference in Los Angeles. This year we are happy to announce that Nevada author Renee Whitney and Iowa illustrator Heidi Pedretti were chosen for the outstanding work they have contributed to their local SCBWI chapters.
