I am currently writing the 3rd edition of WRITING CHILDREN'S BOOKS FOR DUMMIES and need some new cover art for recent titles (last two years). The book's cover will be featured in the chapter about formats or genres. Permissions will have to be acquired (I'll send you a form) from the publisher and permissions language will be included. I am looking for one title (middle grade, chapter books, or YA) in each of the following categories:
Science fiction
Fantasy
Graphic novel
Horror and ghost stories
Action
Mystery
Gender-oriented series
Friendship
Romance
Learning/educational
Religion

I will be accepting entries for a week and will decide based on appropriateness for the category and first-come, first-served. This is a great promotional opportunity for writers as the book will not be updated again for the next 8 years—so that's 8 years of promotion!
