I've revived an old story, well more re-writing it since I don't know where the original is and need a bit of incite(??) to what characters I can use. The main character is a centipede, but I need a few more creepies that children will recognise, preferably with at least six legs!
Any suggestions?

Spiders. They are one of the primary causes of fear.
Earwigs are creepy too.

Yep. Have the spiders, ladybirds, snails, slugs, flies, fleas, locusts and now the earwigs. Keep them coming.

My main character! It's the little critters he is surrounded by that I got stuck on. There are actually a lot of creepies out there.

Oh I totally missed that you said that bc I immediately started getting creeped out by the thought of a centipede, lol! How about leopard slugs? Google them if you aren't familiar -- they are just ewww to me!
