I no longer have a panel on the left, allowing me to check for new posts or new responses to my posts. Was it purposely removed?

It's on the top of the page in my format. Maybe yours is now too?

Michael, we had to change the theme in preparation for our upcoming merger with SCBWI. That sidebar theme is no longer available. I liked it too. But the functions, like new unread posts, are still available, just now they are listed below your name and across the header.

I'm SO glad the board is back to the way it used to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That sidebar was a side scrolling nightmare on my computer.  :yay

I like this new format much better! It just looks neater and cleaner somehow.  :whitebunny

Hmm... I don't see it. I don't even see my name anywhere, and yet I'm logged in.

Michael, what theme are you using? Try going into your Profile>Modify Profile>Look and Layout and see what theme you are using. Try choosing the SMF Default Theme -Curve if you are not already using it. That might help.

If it doesn't, come back and let us know and admin will look into it for you.

Michael, On the top right next to "created by Verla Kay" there is a faint white arrow. It shrinks or expands that part of the board. Press it and you should see everything.

Just for your information, when this board merges with SCBWI (target date is currently October) that faint little arrow will be much darker and more visible. :yay

I like this layout much better. I was never able to see "Show unread posts..." and "Show new replies..." when there was a block on the left side.
