Discussion started on

Finding it difficult to locate a book designer for my MG novel. Anyone have a referral for me? Also looking for recommended assisted publishing services for help with the self-publishing process. Thanks! Cynthia

Hi, I really liked working with my book designer, Derrick Alderman. See here: https://vijayabodach.blogspot.com/2018/06/bodach-books.html
He doesn't have a website but you can contact him at: derrickalderman@gmail.com

Well, I know that Anne Giangiulio is a very good book designer.  She teaches graphic design at the University of Texas at El Paso.  Here's a link to some of her book design work:  https://works.bepress.com/anne_giangiulio/

Here's another suggestion: Sue Knopf is a designer who works for trade publishers as well as SP.  I've referred several clients to her and they've been very happy.  She's located in LaCrosse, WI -- I tell people "Chicago quality, Wisconsin prices." Contact her at graffolioATcharter.net and ask for her portfolio -- she's busy enough that she's never bothered to set up a website.
