SCBWI's Blueboard - A Message & Chat Board

Critique Groups for the Brazos Valley

Discussion started on

Hi, welcome to our critique group page. Here is a spot to chat with locals about forming critique groups. Please include your general area in the Brazos Valley and whether you want an online group, an in person group or a hybrid group.  Please be patient. :)

I am interested in being part of a critique group.  I am working mostly on picture books, some of which are nonfiction.  I am also working on some historical fiction.  Thanks!

Hi, Angela! Let us know if you'd like an online critique group / partner or if you'd like to find someone in your local area. Are you from CS / Bryan area? We will definitely try to find you someone.

Sorry I didn't include more information.  I do not live in the Bryan/College Station area so I would like to do something online.  I am working on several picture books and several creative nonfiction projects (some picture book biographies, and a longer MG)  I would not want to get critiques on them all right away.  Just wanted to give you an idea of what I am working on.  :writing3

:thanks2  for giving us a bit more info on what you're working on and looking for in a critique group. Let's see if we get anyone else to sign up. We can move forward from there.

:new:  It's taken me so long to find a minute to get back in here ('cause I've been writing sooooo much) But, if I'm doing this right, and someone sees this, I'm willing to be anyone's online critique partner. :pickme
