Hi there,
Does anyone know of an online course on writing GNs for beginners, one that a non-illustrator could take?
Thanks!

Susan,
Sadly, you just missed a workshop that might have fit that bill from Janna Morishima of Janna Co., who is an agent who specializes in graphic novels. I'd suggest you find her and follow her on social media. I don't know what else she has planned.

Hi Susan. There is a graphic novel course coming up in February from the Children's Book Academy. I have attached the link here.

I have taken a course with them and found it worthwhile. They even offer scholarships if you qualify. That link is here.

I hope that helps.

Story Teller Academy has a Graphic Novel Course taught by Ken Lamug. His GN Mischief and Mayhem is wonderful. https://storyteller-academy.myshopify.com/products/graphic-novels
He also has a mini-comics course which deals with graphic novels as well. I took it and learned that it's a lot of work, even if you're not an illustrator.
Good luck!

This isn't a writing course but might have some tips for you. It's a free presentation sponsored by Children's Book Insider.
