Hello, I have written a MG novel that is a ghost story and I wonder if that would go into the "Sci Fi & Fantasy" category. Otherwise, I'm not sure where it goes. Although it has a mystery element, it's not exactly that. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Usually ghost stories go under Paranormal (a subset of fantasy as a general heading, but not what most people think when they hear the word). Have you found a comparative story yet? If you can find a story like your own it might help you identify it.

Paranormal is fantasy as David said. Some ghost stories might also fall under horror, but I bet you'd know if it were one of those.
