Halloween pb's

I’ll be looking for ARACHNIBET. Awesome title!

Finally got to read SCARUM FAIR this week. So good! It’s a perfect mix of funny and creepy. The dark humor had me laughing out loud. My favorite poems are “The Scary-Go-Round” and “A Snap Decision.”

Also came across another new Halloween-y picture book I love called THE HEEBIE-JEEBIE JAMBOREE by Mary Ann Fraser.

Hey, thanks for liking Scarum Fair!  And for telling me which poems are your favorites  :grin2:
I just got very unexpected good news -- it made the master list for the 2012-2013 Texas Bluebonnet Award!
Yay for poetry!
Keep up the good blog work!

The House that Witchy Built by Dian de la Casa is a fun Halloween-y book that begs for audience participation.

COMING SOON: Making a Friend*Wordy Birdy Meets Mr. Cougarpants*A Little Chicken*Nugget & Fang, the SEAquel*The Farm that Mac Built & MORE

My book (I Need My Monster) has a Halloween tag because it includes monsters. Funny, I never think of it as Halloween. I also love Skelelton Hiccups.

Oh, my daughter LOVES this book!  She is really scared of the girl monster, oddly enough, but she loves the book  :grin2:
