Looking for a MG Japanese-American Co-Author

Discussion started on

I’m actively looking for a Japanese American writer to work with me on a rewrite of my middle grade novel about WWII treatment of Japanese orchardists in Hood River. I’d like to have a collaboration with someone who can represent that culture, as I’m white. I’ve researched a lot on the topic and had a sensitivity reader, but feel that telling the story from different perspectives may be just what’s needed. If interested please contact me. Thanks!

Shannon, I see that you're in OR. Have you tried reaching out to your local chapter or the WWA chapter? You'll probably have better luck there. Good luck!

Shannon, just a note that the edit done to your post has to do with a change in the title of the thread to show clearly what you're looking for. The post itself is not edited. I split the post from the previous thread so it can have its own.  :flowers2
