What's the funniest PBs you've read lately? Older ones are fine, but I'm looking for newer ones mainly(pubbed since 2014 to present).

Can't wait to build my humorous PB library!! And dig into to some super FUN research for a new PB idea I have percolating.

 :thankyou

My MOST favourite book (and it's series of books) is "Mister Bud Wears the Cone", written and Illustrated by Carter Goodrich. I laugh out loud each and every time I read it and the other 2 books in the series, "Say Hello to Zorro" and "Zorro Gets an Outfit". He's just a master of minimal text, of dog dialogue and hilarious art work. https://www.amazon.com/Mister-Wears-Cone-Carter-Goodrich/dp/1442480882

Sounds like a fun project is afoot!

Well...they are a bit outside your time frame. But two that come to mind are Chip Wants a Dog (it's so straightfaced against the irony of the pictures) by William Wegman (wait, Amazon has a Penguin Young Readers' Edition from 2014). And also Company's Coming, by Arthur Yorinks and illustrated by David Small. (It's old. But--aliens in suburbia!) Both of them pit words against pictures for some very funny results.
