I was wondering if anyone knew of any MG books that incorporate frame story style? If anyone knows of any please drop the title below! Im hoping to get familiar with the style.

I know you asked about books, but Titanic comes to mind right away. And that movie Inception, which is frame within frame within frame--it was hard keeping track of everything. Oh, and one of my favorites: Amadeus! Another favorite: Slumdog Millionaire.

But books: One Thousand and One Nights, Wizard of Oz, many of the Indian myths are told with a frame (Bhagvad Gita is part of Mahabharat).

I hope this helps. I think you have to have a fantastic storyteller voice to pull this off.

"Wolf Hollow" and "Beyond the Bright Sea" aren't necessarily "story within a story" but they are both stories that we learn (via prologue) have happened in the past. "The Princess Bride" and "Walk Two Moons" should count for frame style though.

"Cloud Atlas" is a frame style, but not MG.

Definitely WALK TWO MOONS, as mentioned above. Another classic example, but not MG, is FRIED GREEN TOMATOES.
