I'm looking for some great MG witch novels to read in October. One of my favorites is WHISPERING TO WITCHES by Anna Dale.

Also looking for good MG novels about ghosts, vampires, Halloween, or monsters. A favorite MG ghost book is Lily's Ghosts by Laura Ruby.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but NIGHT OF THE LIVING CUDDLE BUNNIES was recently published. The MC is human, but there is a warlock and when the Cuddle Bunnies come to life, they definitely have a monsterish feel to them. The book is both funny and scary.

The next book in the series will have vampires, but it's not out yet.

It's an older one, but I've always loved Jennifer, Hectate, Macbeth, William McKinley, and Me, Elizabeth by E. L. Konigsburg

Natasha, I LOVED The Power of Poppy Pendle! Have been meaning to read the newest books in the series. Thank you for commenting and reminding me!

Becca, I haven't read that one yet. Thanks for the recommendation! Sometimes an older book fits the bill.

I keep thinking the Charlie Bone books should fit here, but I'm not sure. My son read them a few years ago.

It is a totally different type of ghost story but you could check out Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier--a graphic novel.
