I've written a couple picture book manuscripts in the second person, as sort of a dialogue between the narrator and the kid reading the book. It's like the reader/kid being read to and the main character are solving problems/going on adventures together.  This wasn't totally deliberate. It was just how they landed on the page and I *think* it worked?

 But....I'm curious if agents or editors have any strong feelings about writing in the second person?

There are a few classic books in this style. Think about The Monster at the End of This Book and The Book with No Pictures. If they are done well, kids and gatekeepers love them.
