You mean other than the obvious Magic Tree House, right? My daughter used to love a couple, but they might be too old for your needs. My thirteen year old is rereading a series that involves kids helping animals and animal ghosts. I'll try to get the title tomorrow.

My daughter also liked Katie Kazoo, but I didn't think the writing was that great. (I still don't know why the girl keeps her best friend.)

And my son suggests Animal Ark: Hauntings.
