HI, :new
I am new to all of this and just joined recently. I feel I spin my wheels a bit trying to get around this wonderful site. I know it probably is so simple but is there a simple "how to  " find what you sent to post but is still in review"   as well as How to get around on  the site- so that I can navigate a bit smarter.
Thanks so much for all your help. Julie

Julie, this *is* a huge board and it takes getting used to.
When you log in, you should see a bunch of topics. Any that interest you, you can click on, and there will be another list of threads. You can read what you want, respond, but note that many old threads will be locked because the original poster has probably moved on.
I see that you've already started a few threads and you're doing good, posting in the corret areas.
The best way to get the hang of this is to spend the time. If you're looking for a particular topic, you can use the search function.
Here's a helpful post about it: https://www.scbwi.org/boards/index.php?topic=84410.msg1059156#msg1059156

Welcome Julie,

If you click on your profile and then posts you can find anything you posted previously.  You can also click on your profile name on the upper right corner and then click "unread posts" to see the newest posts on the board.

There is a lot on the board, but if you spend some time reading the headings and any descriptions that go along with it, you'll soon catch on.  You can also search for things by using the search box from the home page.

Hope that helps.  :cheesy

One thing I found helpful was to start fresh. I marked everything as read and then only looked at new posts unless I was searching for something specific.

I look at the dates down the right hand column and keep track of my last visit. Anything after that date, I click into and then look at whatever is marked as new, but as a moderator I'm looking at the whole board. You don't have to do that. You can pick sections and topics you want to follow. This is an especially good idea while you get the hang of it. Take it one area of interest at a time.
