Pb's with a search theme?

I'm looking for pb stories that have a "search & find" theme. Can you guys recommend some titles that I can study? Thanks!

Kathy, do you mean books like Walter Wick's Can You See What I See? series? Where's Waldo... that sort of thing? There's also Bob Staake's "Look! A Book!" Or "Skip Through the Seasons" by Stella Blackstone. I'm not sure I'd call them pb "stories." To me, these are more activity books, though there is an underlying story in the pictures that may not be written in the text.

Hi Syoon. I should have explained better. I've written and revised (a gazillion times) a pb story that deals with a character searching for a lost object. My latest critiquer suggested that it might be helpful to look at other pb's with a "lost and found" theme. Probably should have said "lost and found" and not "search and find"!

A HA! Thanks for the clarification, Kathy! That makes more sense. There are lots of seek and find books in a pb format, which is why I was confused.
In PEEDIE, by Olivier Dunrea, Peedie (a gosling) loses his lucky red baseball cap.

In Oliver Jeffers' LOST AND FOUND the MC finds a penguin and tries to figure out where it belongs. That might be the reverse of what you're looking for

In my PB "Where is Salami?" the snake is missing. Of course, the kids have a ball finding him in the pictures. When I read at a preschool, the teacher had found either stuffed or plastic animals like in the book and the kids had a scavenger hunt after I read the book. Fun idea!
