Looking for guidance re: how to best go about finding book reviewers for a debut children's picture book?  I'm learning that I should begin this process now -- 3-6 months before the book is ready (self publishing).  Would appreciate advice!

Hi Patricia,

I did a search in the Self Publishing thread and it's a bit old, but maybe this will be helpful?

I am new to AZ and looking for guidance and critiques.  I have a picture book that I would like critiqued.  How do I find a critique group?

:welcome mary you may post in the private scbwi critique section here: https://www.scbwi.org/boards/index.php?board=121.0 and you can also contact your regional advisor for local information: https://arizona.scbwi.org/

patricia, i would reach out to people in your community--newspapers, magazines, librarians, other authors with similar interests, perhaps teachers if there's an educational component. good luck.
