Hi Writers,
I would like to include information as a backmatter.
I understand manuscripts are 24 or 32 pages long.
I am making a dummy, so does this mean I need to have text for 22 pages and 2 pages of back matter or Text 30 pages and 2 pages of backmatter?

Michelle. Given the standard length of PBs, you still have to budget 2-3 pages for front matter and maybe a page for back. Depending on how the book will be bound, the 1st and last pages could be pasted, so for a 24 pg PB you'll want everything to fit in 20-21 pages and for 32 pg in 28 pages.  The art director will take care of these details though.
