Good for her! That will get her far in the college applications world!

My family has sort of become experts on scoring high on the ACT. And the only word of advice I can give you is to have her take it one more time a month or two (or three, just depending on when she needs the score by) into her senior year. For some reason there seems to be a "Senior Year Bump" of a point or two. Not to mention a point bump from being more familiar with the test itself.

Tell her congrats and take her out to dinner!

I have no idea either but the fact that you've titled this "Braggy mother time" means it must be great news! Congratulations to your daughter!

From what I can tell, 31 is top 3 % of test takers. She takes the SAT in a couple of weeks, so we'll see how that goes.

Thanks for indulging me!!

Yes, that's a great score :)  (I don't know why she'd need to take it again...I'd think that's high enough, personally.)

Haha, Andracill, that's true. I think maybe my family is crazy and likes to compete for valedictorian? But also the college we go to gives out an automatic full-ride for ACT scores of 32 or 33 and higher.

But yes, really, that score is high enough. So unless there is a specific reason to go for higher, just enjoy being one-and-done! Such a great accomplishment.
