Does anyone have a favorite nonfiction mentor text recommendation that has a lyrical component (with an informational POV) and then layers of expository text?

Check out some of April Pulley Sayre's books. Also Amy Krouse Rosenthal's. Oh and Lita Judge's too. And our own Deb Schumaker's :)

Probably Melissa Stewart too. She writes in many styles. I think her new Fourteen Monkeys fits the bill.
