Hope this hasn't already been discussed, if so please forgive.

Thought I read the "quick reply" feature provides the use of the smileys.  Where are they? I don't see them when I use that feature.

They aren't there for Quick Reply, Carole...but if you start out in Quick Reply and decide you have to include smileys in your post, you can hit the "preview" button and that will take you (and your message) into regular reply mode, where the smileys will be waiting for you.

Also, if you know the codes for the smilies, you can just type them in yourself in the Quick Reply box. <--- Like this guy is your standard smiley face. : and )
