My first time on this thread and I'm so happy to join you in celebrating poets and poetry! 

Carrie, I love "Grandma's Letter" and "Dinosaur Stomp!"  I have a fiction piece in the Sept. 2015 Ladybug. So nice to see your wonderful poems!

Diana M - Love your "Dance Your Way" action rhyme!

Dionna -  "In My Suit" is so cute!

I've been subbing poetry off and on for a few years and I'm so excited to break into Highlights this summer with three poems! I have 2 poems accepted for Hello and one for High Five.

Sue, looked up your story in Ladybug- clever! I look forward to seeing your poem in High Five! (A grandchild gets that magazine, but no access to Hello. I don't have any grandkids that little anymore.)  I did find the Humpty Dumpty Sept./Oct. issue reprinted my only poem sold to them. That was a fun discovery.

I have a poem, "Stable Sounds" coming up in the Dec issue of Clubhouse Jr., and just received payment for a recently accepted poem by Highlights.  Not sure when it will appear.  I'm still waiting on a seasonal poem they accepted in 2008, but those do take longer to place. I have also had two poems accepted by Cricket--again, not scheduled yet.

Just found out one of my poems is in the current Guardian Angel Kids. They never sent notification. Does anyone know when I should expect payment? I'm guessing it will be the 15 of this month.
