SCBWI Florida members, remember that we have a writing conference this year. Entries are accepted until Sept. 30. Go to www.scbwiflorida.com for information! You must live in Florida in order to enter.

I've always wanted to do one but it came about because of Rob Sanders. He's a superstar volunteer!

Daniela, Contests are a great way to get experience with submitting your writing. And winning one boosts your confidence! You should definitely enter!

I read through the guidelines and saw that you have to be a member.  :-\ I'm sorta moving this weekend and I can't afford to fork over the fee. Oh well. C'est la vie. Maybe next time. Chicken House is open until November. Maybe I'll enter that!
