Peter, you might check the SCBWI Florida page on the main SCBWI website -- there might be ready-made critique groups in your area.

Also, I noticed in your profile that you're listed as a member of Eastern NY SCBWI.  Is that still current or have you moved recently and just haven't transferred yet?

Yeah, check the Florida site.  There may be one already, but maybe not.  There is a big group in Miami. Florida Writers Assoc. tends to be big in N. FL and in Orlando, but that includes writers of adult fiction.
