Title: Sweet Cherry Publishing

Hello, I submitted my first chapters to Sweet Cherry Publishing and they requested the full manuscript saying they loved it. In the end they didn't go for it but said they want to add me to their database of authors because they love my writing and want to commission e for something in house. Has anyone has this happen to them and did they ever get commissioned?? Thank you!

I have heard of this happening. It may or may not turn into an assignment. That always depends on the projects the publisher has come up and whether they feel you'd be a good fit for those. Good luck.

It's wonderful they like your writing. And yes, this happens quite often. You submit a piece; it's not the right fit, but they like your writing and so you get commissioned.
