Do picture-book age kids know about hypnotism. If so, will they know about snapping fingers as a signal to follow a command? Thanks.

I feel like when I was Scooby Doo watching age back in the 1980s, I learned about hypnotism from that show (creepy person saying "Look into my eyes" and then their eyes would turn into spirals or something). So I think if your PB is targeting ages 5-8 (as opposed to 3-5 or so) you are safe. IMO.
