Hi everyone!

I’m doing a bit of market research and would love to know some of your favorite PBs about “bad” or “wild” kids.  You know- the ones who can’t sit still or be quiet, are always in trouble in class or with their parents, just can’t seem to follow the rules like everyone else.  TIA!

Classics: Where the Wild Things Are, Olivia, the Francis books. I prefer to just think of them as kids. We ll make poor choices sometimes. And attention spans are short before second grade. It's not about the kids, it's about the expectations for their behaviors. (But now I'm just preaching. Not helpful to you. Stepping off the soapbox.)

"Where the Wild Things Are"  is the classic... but I think "Shrek" deserves a mention. Big fan of Steig and that book was an eye-opener and instant classic for me (read it before it became a movie franchise). The ogre NEVER is ashamed of his nastiness... unlike the sanitized Hollywood version.

Slightly older you have Horrid Henry, Pippi Longstocking, Judy Moody, etc.
