So I am researching Fiction PBs (not biographies) that cover both the childhood and adulthood of a human-like (non-animal) character,
I have a few books in mind, such as
The heart and the Bottle by Oliver Jeffers,
Sandman by William Joyce.
The fantastic flying book by William Joyce.
Do you know more fiction PBs like this? Thank you so much!

From memory, I think Love You Forever (R Munsch, S McGraw) and The Giving Tree (S Silverstein) do this. Both are old PBs (and I am not keen on either of them!) But some people love them. I don't know of any contemporary PBs - fashions and trends perhaps make this a hard sell right now (but not impossible for a great story)?

Julie, I feel the same way too. But now that my son is taller than my husband, who knows, one day when I'm old, he might be tucking me into bed.
hue, I don't think Cactus Hotel by Brenda Guiberson would fit what you're looking for but it's worth a look. One of my favorite PBs. Nonfiction.
Farfallina and Marcel by Holly Keller is a lovely fiction PB about friendship as the two grow up and change.
There must be more!

One of my all time favorite PBs: A Violin for Elva by Mary Lyn Ray. Published in 2015, so somewhat recent. . .
