I'm wondering if anyone can point me to examples in this genre?
Thanks in advance.
(Information fiction = a story about a fictional character with a firm grounding in nonfiction/fact)

Not rhyming but our own Jody's Chip Off the Old Block. Also take a look at Lita Judge's books--you'd love her stories because she brings her love of the natural world to kids. Chock full of information. I think a couple of them are rhyming. Her characters are so fun and funny.
I've also read a few rhyming books that shall remain unnamed that have information because they're so clunky. If they intended any humor, it was lost on me. Good luck with your story Julie!

Thanks, Vijaya! Luckily, it's one I've sold and will be published in 2023. I'm filling in the questionnaire for the Marketing team and need to list a few comparable titles. I do have a few titles already, but thought I'd also pick the brains of our wonderful Blueboard community.

My book, FREAKY, FUNKY FISH is a rhyming, nonfiction PB with humor. :-)
Does Heather Montgomery's BUGS DON'T HUG rhyme? I think it does. . . and I think is considered more informational fiction vs. nonfiction.
WATER IS WATER by Miranda Paul is a concept PB that rhymes, though it's not humorous.
I'll let you know if I think of others!

Yes, of course! Thanks, Debra. I've got all I need now. : )
