Title: Use of picture books in high school adoptions
Post by: CaroleB on June 13, 2012, 03:29 PM
The last year I worked for a large school district as a media assistant I processed the literature adoption which included novels, dvds,  and believe it or not picture books. One I remember was The Arrival which, of course, has no text.  The adoption was called Springboard.
I was really busy, too busy, and never asked the teacher how the program worked meaning how they used all the picture books for high school students.

Anybody hear of this? I found it intriguing and wonder if it is used elsewhere.

I personally would love to write picture books for an older audience.
