This does seem like a big job since so many Blue Borders are published and keep publishing. I'd help if I knew what to do. Give me a job if something can be laid off.

I'd like to add my title to this distinguished list:

Title: Sliding on the Edge
Author: C. Lee McKenzie
Publisher: WestSide Books
YA Crossover: 14+

My second novel MAMBA POINT is now on Amazon.com. Still not for sale for seven months + a week, though. Not that I'm counting.

Thanks for this, Mike--very helpful for holiday shopping!
#154 - December 06, 2009, 06:17 PM

A good holiday story not on your list: Froonga Planet, available in hardcover from Amazon, Barnes & Noble online, and Walmart.com

"Nothing say 'Christmas' like an alien-infested fruitcake that sucks the flavor out of everything it touches." - School Library Journal.

"Fields's second Lunchbox adventure is as silly and fun to read as the first..." - Kirkus Reviews.

Sorry...couldn't resist the shameless self-promotional opportunity!

Before I learned a little more about publishing, I printed a MG-ish novel using CreateSpace.  (By the time I found out that that's not the best idea if you ever want to be able to sell it to a publisher, people had started buying copies.)  I still think it's a good read, so I was wondering whether to mention it in this thread, but I'm not sure whether it's acceptable to list a previous book here if it's not been professionally edited and published.

Here's one more for the list:

What Do You See? by Judith Snyder

This book encourages creative thinking as kids predict what different shapes represent.  The verse and the illustrations appeal to younger children, but the higher level thinking required appeals to the older crowd as well.

The Naughty List by Suzanne Young
#163 - March 04, 2010, 08:58 AM

I'm all caught up...for now! I'm working on Blueboarder List #5. If you go back to the first post in this thread, you'll find all the links to the five lists or you can go directly to the store with all five (so far!) lists:

http://astore.amazon.com/booksbyblueboarders-20

When you list your books for addition to the store, please list the title, too. Usually I can figure it out from the link and not have to click to actually go to the page listing, but not always. Weird abbreviations in some of the links!

Thanks! - Donna
