Title: American Girl Magazine
Post by: ShelliC on April 26, 2010, 03:58 PM
I sent a craft submission to them via snail mail on April 13th. I received a very nice rejection this weekend stating my idea definitely fits their guidelines but is, unfortunately, too similar to something they have coming out either in the magazine or in an American Girl book.

Just thought I'd pass it along because the response time was incredibly quick (especially for a snail mail sub). They are definitely reading their submissions.

Thanks.  Do you have another submission in mind?  Now would be a good time for you to get back to them, while your name is fresh in the editors' minds.

Shelli, just out of curiosity, did you find guidelines on their website?  I couldn't locate them (just have the info in my market books).   :thankyou
