Title: You Can't Always Get What You Want. . .
Post by: elisa on November 30, 2011, 07:19 PM
A friend of mine wants to write a paper about picture books in which the main character really wants something but doesn't get it. (Books that handle that idea well). The book she has that sparked the idea, one that she loves, is "Pink," by Nan Gregory.

Any ideas would be appreciated. . .

Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse is about a girl who really wants a horse but ends up getting a bicycle instead.

A Pet for Petunia by Paul Schmid

This is my absolute FAVORITE book of 2011.
