Title: Quiet books
Post by: AnnH on December 01, 2011, 03:43 PM
I really enjoyed Major Pettigrew's Last Stand and I've just started reading Brooklyn: A Novel and I'm already loving it.

These are both books for adults, but I thought I'd mention them, because I know there those here on the Blueboards who like "quiet" books.

I read Major Pettigrew when it came out and when I finished I was surprised to find it was repped by my first agent (who stopped repping kid lit writers). I'll look for Brooklyn: A Novel--thanks!
