Title: cookie help
Post by: Car on August 28, 2012, 11:24 AM
Help. I need a short generic name for Oreo cookies. Or, more specifically, the kind with vanilla and chocolate wafers and cream in the middle?

Thanks. (I hope I haven't made you hungry now, too.  :))

That'll work. Thanks!

As a little post note, I was wondering out loud what the diameter of an Oreo is - I need them for a project. I said I could probably find that online somewhere but my son volunteered to go to the store to buy some. I'm sure it was out of the goodness of his heart and not because he got hungry for them!

I agree with Anne Marie, chocolate sandwich cookies. I would know what you meant.

Hehe, what a supportive son! ;)

As it happens, I just bought some Oreos today, and guess who had to measure them after reading this post. For everybody else who now needs to know, they're 1.75" across (or 4.5 cm).

Now, next time someone asks (or you're on a quiz show) you'll know. So you're welcome. :-)
