Title: All About Board Books
Post by: literaticat on December 28, 2012, 07:11 AM
Mods feel free to move if this is not the right place for this:

I get questions about board books all the time - thought I'd put basically everything I know about them in one handy spot. Let me know if you have further questions or need clarification or anything:

That is an excellent and informative post, Literaticat! This is very helpful to me because I get emails about this very thing from aspiring authors/illustrators... and instead of my emailed explanation/advice, I will just provide them a link to this post.

(And thanks for the mention! I went like this  :ahh when I saw my name on YOUR BLOG!)   :love5:

And I agree with everything you wrote, for the record.

Great post. I'm one of those authors with a spin off or shrunken board book version of another PB.
THIS TREE, 1, 2, 3 is a shortened version of my PB THIS TREE COUNTS! It includes only the counting section of my PB and I admit it was a lot of fun to rewrite and shrink 700 words of text into 75.
