Title: Basic US terminology question
Post by: Megan on December 12, 2014, 12:52 PM
Very quick question: Here in Canada we refer to physical therapy as "physiotherapy" and commonly short form that as "physio". I notice from my googling that it seems in the US you'd generally call it "physical therapy"? What's the most commonly used short form?  "PT"?

(I have an American character discussion her sister's treatment and I want to make sure she's using country-appropriate terminology.  :)  )

Yes, PT is probably what you'd hear, Megan.
