Title: Blackmail Books
Post by: Tara S. (Rylotajo) on February 28, 2015, 09:37 PM
I'm trying to research YA books that have an element of blackmail in them, or are about blackmail, but I'm not finding much out there. :gaah  I was hoping I could find some answers and book suggestions here from all you amazing Blueboarders.  :meeting  :ty

Trust Me, I'm Lying by Mary Elizabeth Summer has a grifter main character. It's lots of fun.

Thank you all so much!  I'll check each of those out. I knew Pretty Little Liars had some element of blackmail, but I wasn't sure how much.

I've heard of the Cold Calls book, but wasn't sure what it was about, so I'll definitely check that out. Thank you!

Thanks again everyone!  :yourock

I think WHITE CAT by Holly Black -- a very intriguing first in a trilogy with magic-gangster plot, has blackmail as a plot (characters forced to commit crimes, etc.)
