Title: Lilybell Magazine for Girls Call for Submissions
Post by: sheila-king-2 on September 29, 2015, 07:22 AM
Lilybell Magazine, www.mylilybell.com, is a new digital app magazine for girls ages 7-12.  The Lilybell reader is curious, likes to have fun and explore her world, and is not trying to grow up too fast.

Editor Sara Hilton has posted a Call for Submissions http://mylilybell.com/writers/ (http://mylilybell.com/writers/) The magazine features a monthly topic and all articles are related to that topic, including a fiction piece (although on a few occasions the fiction has stood alone, not on topic.)

As it is a new venture, the magazine is not at this time paying for articles, but for new writers it is a chance to try something new, work to a deadline, and get your feet wet with the magazine business.

All articles should be geared toward the elementary school girl. No romance, no violence, no teen themes.

I have had over a dozen articles and fiction published, and it has been a wonderful learning experience. I had the pleasure of interviewing interesting people including TV personality Martha Collison and extraordinary girls from across the country.

You can see a small sample issue at www.mylilybell.com. (http://www.mylilybell.com.)
