Title: Interview with a prison librarian
Post by: David Wright on October 28, 2015, 04:34 PM
I don't know anyone writing about prison librarians, but I thought this was interesting since I hadn't seen this covered before, and you never know when little bits of truth might make a story better:

I teach computer science to college students in prison. I have found the men to be extremely dedicated to their education, more so than my students on campus.

Thanks. I also really enjoyed the nonfiction book Running the Books: The Adventures of an Accidental Prison Librarian by Avi Steinberg.
