Title: Name generator
Post by: Long Hair on July 16, 2017, 04:46 AM
I was goofing around this morning (instead of writing) and found this site:  http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/

I have no idea if I'll ever use it, but it's absolutely hilarious to play with and I thought I'd share the joy!  In all fairness, some of the names are pretty good.

Waste some time, have some fun!

Some good ones, alright.
Evie was one for a cat. I love that, but not in the way you'd think: I have a cousin named Evie who is such a crabby, pompous know-it-all she suits her "Cat" personality.
Looking at these would be perfect for character profile building.

Thanks for sharing. I write historical and have certain lists that I go to, but I hadn't seen this one and some of the human names sound 'old' so this could help with giving some of us historical writers some variety.

But I will also bookmark this for when and if I head into fantasy....  ;)
