Title: Response Times for Illustrators
Post by: christripp on July 17, 2017, 08:21 AM
Illustrators, this is a thread where you can post your response times.

Do NOT quote directly any reply you get from an Art Director, Editor, Agent! Many Industry folks are members of this Forum and they may be watching:)

Your posts will be deleted without notice on this Response Times thread if they are anything but response times. We need to keep this thread "clean" and without anything except response times on it in order to make it fast and easy for board members to find the information they need.

Examples of a response time post:

1)AD, RandomHouse Books for Young Readers

Promotional Packet with SASE sent July 16, 2017
   Form rejection Sept 19, 2017

2)Art Buyer, Cricket Magazine
   Postcard sent Oct 03, 2017
Contacted for work, July 04, 2018

3) Agent, Andrea Brown Agency
    email Jan 10, 2017
   Rejection email Feb 1, 2017

Is a 'thank you for sharing your art' considered something to post on the boards? (Not a form reply)

Absolutely yes Wendy:)
I should have posted an example showing a less formal reply so I'm glad you brought that question up.
Set up your post in the manner I've shown, so who you sent to and when, then when that reply/response came in.
